A Waiheke Contemporary Oasis

This contemporary three-story residence offers breathtaking views from every angle and corner. Whether you’re standing under the open shower with the doors leading directly to the lush greenery and expansive ocean beyond or relaxing in the main bedroom where a simple glass balustrade is the only boundary between your sleeping space and the stunning panorama of Haruhi Bay, the visual experience is incomparable.

A Modern Three Story Rebuild

The house, designed to replace a previous bach, spans 219 square meters and features three bedrooms. The ground floor is constructed from concrete and plaster cladding, creating a sturdy base that supports the two upper floors. These upper levels are built from a timber frame and steel structure, clad in dark-stained modified wood weatherboards.

The Perfect Blend of Modernity and Nature

The exterior aesthetic is further enhanced by the use of louvre shutters and battened screens, serving both functional and aesthetic purposes. They filter the sunlight and wind, while also adding to the overall street appeal of the home.

Top Notch Interior Craftsmanship

The interior of the house showcases impeccable craftsmanship. Flush skirtings and architraves are meticulously laid with a negative detail to the walls, resulting in a sleek and contemporary aesthetic. Venetian plaster features walls and slatted stair balusters, adding an extra dimension of texture, while the kitchen and bathrooms feature black cabinetry that mirrors the exterior design.

The house also features an outdoor fireplace and priceless views that overlook the sea. With such a serene and luxurious setting, you would be hard-pressed to find a reason to ever leave.
